Arrival
St. Moritz is located in the Upper Engadine, almost exactly in the triangle between Zurich, Milan and Munich. You can easily reach your vacation destination with the Rhaetian Railway,
via the well-developed road network or by air.
Arrival by car:
From the Zurich and St. Margarethen region (Lake Constance, southern Germany, Austria): Highway A3/A13 to Bellinzona: Exit Thusis: main road Tiefencastel - Julierpass - Silvaplana - St. Moritz (Alternative: in summer: Thusis - Filisur - Bergün - Albulapass - Bever - St. Moritz; in winter: RhB Thusis - Samaden car transport)
From the Chiasso region (southern Switzerland, Italy): Highway A2/A13 via San Bernardino to Chur Exit Thusis: main road Tiefencastel - Julierpass - Silvaplana - St. Moritz (Alternative: in summer: Thusis - Filisur - Bergün - Albulapass - Bever - St. Moritz)
Alternative southern Switzerland: main road Lugano - Menaggio (Lake Como) - Chiavenna - Maloja Pass - St. Moritz
From the region of Upper Italy (Merano): Val Müstair - Ofenpass - Zernez - St. Moritz
From the Austria region (Innsbruck): Highway to Feldkirch: Exit Landeck: main road - Martina - Zernez - St. Moritz
Zurich - St. Moritz: 200 km, 3 hours
Milan - St. Moritz: 200 km, 3 hours
Munich - St. Moritz: 360 km, 4 hours
Basel - St. Moritz: 290 km, 4 hours
Please note that only a limited number of parking spaces (10) are available. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a reservation in advance. The use of the parking lot is subject to a charge.
Arrival by train:
Travel the route to Chur with the SBB (Swiss Federal Railways). From Chur, the journey continues on the RhB's (Rhaetian Railway) state-of-the-art express trains through helical tunnels and over dizzying viaducts. The 400 km journey from Zurich to St. Moritz takes around 4 hours.
Alternatively, you can also travel by train via Landquard and experience the beautiful Lower Engadine all the way to St. Moritz.
