FESTIVAL DA JAZZ
Jazz back at its origins: in the club. Experience stars of national and international jazz up close.
International artists turn the legendary Dracula Club into one of the hotspots for fans of jazz music. The Round Midnight concerts take place in the Sunnybar in the Kulm Hotel. And the Sunday open-air stage at “Hauser” rounds off the programme. The festival was founded in 2007 by Christian Jott Jenny and Rolf Sachs.
BRITISH CLASSIC CAR MEETING ST. MORITZ
The British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz is the elegant highlight for friends of classic cars from Great Britain. It combines elegance and class in the Engadine Alpine world.
Since 1994 the 200 classic cars of the brands Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin & Lagonda, Jaguar & Daimler, Austin-Healey & Healey have been meeting every year in July in St. Moritz for excursions, regularity tests (rally) and “Concours d´Elégance”. In the “Open Class”, a limited number of classic cars of other British brands built up to 1960 are admitted by invitation to the British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz.
SWISSALPINE IRONTRAIL
Attractive routes in a unique alpine landscape – you can expect a running spectacle in a class of its own. There are twelve exciting competitions to choose from in the disciplines of trail running, running and hiking.
The ultimate Irontrail T88 is regarded as the supreme discipline par excellence. Challenge yourself with world-class athletes or simply indulge in the joy of running and the beauty of nature. Enjoy the overwhelming atmosphere that only the Swissalpine Irontrail can offer.
TAVOLATA ST. MORITZ
The longest table in the Alps is used for eating, drinking, laughing, singing, dancing and celebrating. A large culinary offer and lots of music leave nothing to be desired.
On the last weekend of July of each year, a colourfully mixed bunch of locals and outsiders eat together in St. Moritz at a 400-metre-long Swiss stone pine table that runs right through the pedestrian zone.
“Tavolata” is the name of the FOOD & MUSIC FESTIVAL.
84th ENGADIN FESTIVAL
World class in the Engadine. The Engadin Festival offers ten classical concerts of the finest quality.
The churches and hotels in St. Moritz, Zuoz, Pontresina, Samedan, La Punt, Celerina and Sils Maria will be filled with the finest classical sounds.
The festival was founded in 1941 and will be held for the 83rd time this summer. Experience world-class artists up close and personal in a very personal and beautiful setting.
29. SUMMER CONCOURS HIPPIQUE
The show jumping sport in St. Moritz enjoys a long tradition. The 29th Summer Concours Hippique St. Moritz will take place end July. This event is intended to appeal to participants and spectators who appreciate a familiar environment.
The exams will be held in categories of B 75 / B 85 / BR 90, R/N 100, 120 and two Derby.
There are very attractive prizes. Enjoy four days of exciting jumping in the unique surroundings of the Upper Engadine!
45TH ENGADIN SUMMER RUN
With breathtaking mountain scenery and deep blue lakes one of the most beautiful runs in the world! 25 km sporting challenge or 11 km short distance from Sils or Pontresina to Samedan.
The Engadine summer run starts in Sils and leads past six deep blue Upper Engadine lakes to the finish in Samedan. Most of the route runs on natural roads and has a minimum height difference of 200m. Teams of 3 can register in the Companies & Teams category and experience team spirit combined with a sporting challenge.
ENGADINWIND
For the 47th time the Engadin Surf Marathon for windsurfers and kitesurfers takes place on the Silvaplanersee.
Experience the oldest windsurfing regatta in the world, the “Engadin Surf Marathon” in the context of the Engadin wind.
The world’s best athletes from the windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing sports compete against each other in teams.
PASSIONE ENGADINA
The ninth edition of the Passione Engadina also features significant innovations. As the epitome of the Italian way of life from tradition, taste and style, it brings historical automobiles manufactured exclusively in Italy to St. Moritz.
The Passione Engadina is now in its ninth edition and, as every year, has some remarkable new features. And as always, it brings the best of the Italian way of life – tradition, taste and style – to St. Moritz and the Engadine.
A unique engine weekend with lots of emotion and breathtaking classic cars that will bring color to the Engadine in August 2024.
BERNINA GRAN TURISMO
In September, the Bernina Gran Turismo event follows on from the historic St. Moritz Automobile Weeks of 1929 and 1930.
Classic racing and sports cars from the pre-war and post-war periods, right up to the early 1980s, can take part in the mountain race on the specially cordoned off road at the Bernina Pass.
