St. Moritz

Probably no other town at 1856 meters above sea level offers its inhabitants such a wide range of leisure activities and cultural events.
Added to this are solid finances, innovative companies and an open society that speaks several languages.

In addition to its beautiful location above and beside the lake, St. Moritz offers an attractive mix of nature, culture, sport, business and tranquillity. The sympathetic harmony of the Upper Engadin landscape with around 90 mountain lakes, the famous "champagne climate" and the strong Engadin sun make up the real charm of the town.

St. Moritz belongs administratively to the canton of Graubünden and covers an area of just under 29 km².
The municipality comprises the districts of St. Moritz Dorf, St. Moritz Bad, Suvretta and Champfèr.

St. Moritz village

is built in terraces up the slope from the lake. Many of the famous hotels such as Badrutt's Palace Hotel and most of the boutiques of well-known brands are located here. St. Moritz village is a lively center - so it is not surprising that many clubs and bars can be found in the middle of the village. St. Moritz Dorf is also home to the two school buildings and the town hall, the administrative center of the municipality, in the pedestrian zone.
